For therapists · Featured listings
This site exists for one reason: to connect people in relationship distress with therapists who can actually help them. If that's you, here's how to get featured.
Why it works
Listing tiers
The most visible position on the site. Your practice leads the counselor feature section, appears first in the flip, and is spotlighted on the homepage as the featured practice of the month.
A strong placement in the top five — visible to every visitor who comes to the site for the counselor list, the assessment results, and the Toolbox content.
One spot is always reserved for an editorial pick — a therapist we feature based on specialty, approach, and fit for our readers. No fee. Applications reviewed on the first of each month.
Common questions
How long is the commitment?
There is no long-term contract. Premier and Standard listings are month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. We don't believe in locking therapists into annual contracts — if the placement isn't working for you, you should be able to leave.
What happens if the top spot is already taken?
You can join a waitlist. When the current Premier listing ends, waitlisted practices are offered the spot in order of application date. Standard spots are typically more available — submit an application and we'll let you know current availability.
Do I have to specialize in couples therapy?
Yes. This site exists specifically for people seeking relationship and couples therapy. We only feature therapists whose primary focus is relationship work — couples, marriage, premarital, affair recovery, or related specialties. General mental health therapists are not a fit for this directory.
Can I track how many clicks my listing gets?
We provide a monthly report with estimated traffic to the counselor section and click data on your profile link where available. We're transparent about what we can and can't measure.
What's the difference between this and Psychology Today?
Psychology Today is a directory of thousands of therapists. Being listed there puts you alongside hundreds of other Atlanta therapists competing for the same searches. Here, there are five spots. The selectivity is the product — and the content strategy (Toolbox articles, Ask Nadia, assessment funnel) drives specifically high-intent traffic that a generic directory doesn't.
Is the editorial spot actually free?
Yes. One spot is always reserved as an editorial pick — someone we feature because they're a strong fit for our readers, not because they're paying. It's renewed monthly based on availability and fit. There's no guarantee of continued placement, but there's also no fee.
